Hello all,
I am thrilled to be able to share some exciting updates to the Triptico website, driven by your valuable feedback.
Feature 1: Task Spinner Enhancements
I recently received the following request from a Triptico subscriber:
“Hi David, I have a request for a possible future feature - when using Task Spinner to pair a topic with a name, would it be possible to save the results as a text file somewhere? Thanks.”
In response to this, I have added a brand-new 'Results' button to the Task Spinner resource:
Simply press this button to access a printer-friendly overview of all of the selections made by the resource:
Whether you want to keep records for yourself or share them with your students as a homework task, this feature makes it easy!
Feature 2: Print Cards for Activities
Building the new ‘print’ feature for the Task Spinner reminded me of another common request: to be able to print cards when creating or editing an activity.
So, another new addition to the site!
When creating or editing an activity, you will see a new ‘Print Cards’ button in the Options panel:
Clicking this button opens a new tab containing your activity in a printer-friendly format:
You can print the cards (I have built the feature so that cards will not be split across different pages) or save the page as a PDF for your records, to share with colleagues, to send to students - whatever you like!
If you want a physical copy of an activity, I have used a column format that's perfect for cutting out and folding – a dab of glue, and you've got your very own custom activity cards!
Plus, each card comes with a handy checkbox so that you can deselect any cards that you do not want to print.
As ever - if you have any questions, feedback or further feature requests then please reply to this email.
Your support for Triptico is invaluable.
If you love these new features, please share your excitement with friends and colleagues.
Every recommendation helps Triptico grow and thrive.
Bye for now,
David
