I'm excited to announce that the new and improved version of the Card Board resource is now live and ready for you to explore on the Triptico website.
One of the most significant enhancements is the addition of a Speak button.
This new feature allows the text you’ve added to your cards to be spoken aloud—an excellent tool for language learners or anyone needing auditory reinforcement.
I have designed the resource to automatically detect the language to use when speaking. However, if it doesn’t get it right, don’t worry! You can manually adjust the language via the Settings button, giving you full control over how the resource works for you.
Check out this short video that demonstrates the new features in action—and use the links below to try it out for yourself:

The final example is one I used often in my own classroom—and it always sparked insightful and surprising analysis.
I would have a student flip over a card and we’d discuss which character from the novel or play we were studying best matched the image.
If you try this in your classroom, I’d love to hear how it goes!
Best of all, these updates—and all other new resources and features—are immediately available to all Triptico users at no extra cost.
I hope you find this upgrade as exciting and useful as I do!
