Yet More Triptico Updates: Listen and Type - and More!
A new Lesson Builder template and updates to the Triptico home page...
I received more feedback than ever in response to the last newsletter - so a huge ‘thank you’ to everyone who took the time to reply.
Your input is the driving force behind these latest updates and I'm thrilled to share them with you.
Many of you expressed interest in a ‘Listen and Type’ template for the Lesson Builder - and so I have built it!
Key points:
Easy to Use: Simply add the text to be spoken into the top panel. It's straightforward and user-friendly.
Customisable Voices: Choose from a variety of voices to ‘speak’ your text.
Feedback Option: Provide immediate, optional feedback in the lower panel for students when they correctly type the text. This feature is great for reinforcing learning and providing instant reinforcement.
This template supports multiple languages, making it a versatile tool for many classrooms:
Did You Spot Another New Feature?
You may also notice the addition of a little ‘Information’ button towards the top right of each of the screenshots.
You can click this to view information about whichever slide you are working on.
For example, when clicking the information button on a slide which uses the new ‘Listen and Type’ template you will see:
Each interactive option - including the popular ‘Multiple Choice’ template - now has an informative panel:
These updates and new features should be live on the site for everybody to begin using in the next day or so.
Resource Link Update
I have updated the Resource link on the Triptico home page to include the newest templates - ‘Read Hide Type’ and ‘Listen and Type’ - bringing the total number of interactive resources available to all Triptico users to 52!
You can view this panel by clicking the ‘Resources’ link on the Triptico home page or by visiting: https://www.tripticoplus.com/?showResources
** Please feel free to share this link with colleagues who might find it useful! **
Another (Small) Update
I have also changed the ‘Title’ template in the Lesson Builder slightly.
With the latest update, the Lesson Player adapts according to whether you use a title, a subtitle or both.
It's all about flexibility and ease of use!
Gratitude and a Call to Action!
Your engagement and feedback are invaluable and very much appreciated.
If you have any questions, ideas or suggestions - especially on spreading the word about Triptico to other educators - then please reply to this newsletter.
Or perhaps you just want to say ‘Hello’ and tell me how you use Triptico in your own classroom!
I would love to hear from you.
Bye for now,
David
